Enjoy these fresh summer cocktails available along with many others at Lavish Lounge. These cocktails scream summer and are sooo good. We will have a collection of specialty martinis, margaritas, mojitos, daiquiris, and shooters. It looks very promising that we will re-open on June 20th with a new seasonal cocktail menu restrictions per NYS guidelines
Lake House
2 oz. aged Jamaican rum
¾ oz. passion fruit syrup
¾ oz. fresh lime juice
½ oz. pineapple juice
¼ oz. maraschino liqueur
¼ oz. Campari
Garnish - pineapple slice, orange peel, edible flowers
Method - Shake all ingredients with 1 cup of crushed ice. Strain into a collins glass and add more crushed ice to fill. Garnish.
Hemingway Daiquiri
1 ½ oz. 10 Cane rum
¾ oz. Luxardo maraschino liqueur
1 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
¾ oz. freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice
¼ oz. simple syrup
Garnish -1 lime wheel & 1 brandied cherry, for garnish
Method - Pour the rum, liqueur, juices, and syrup into a mixing glass. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled cocktail or coupe glass. Garnish with the lime-cherry “flag” (a citrus wheel skewered with a brandied cherry).
Cucumber-Lemon Mojito
1 ½ oz white rum
½ fresh lemon juice
6-8 mint leaves
3 hothouse cucumber slice without skin
1 tsp sugar or simple syrup
Seltzer
Garnish – lemon slice, mint sprig, & cucumber slice with skin
Method - Lightly muddle the mint and cucumber in a mixing glass. Add the rum, lime juice, simple syrup and ice and give it a shake. Dump contents into a highball glass or large rocks glass. Top with seltzer. Garnish with a mint sprig and lemon wheel.
Watermelon Margarita
½ oz agave syrup (nectar diluted with water)
1 ½ oz blanco tequila
½ oz triple sec
½ oz fresh lime juice
3 chunks of seedless watermelon
optional salt on rim
Garnish - watermelon slice and/or lime slice
Method – Muddle slices of watermelon. Add the remaining ingredients plus ice, shake, and double-strain into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with a watermelon slice and/or lime slice.
