Hello Everyone - Now that summer is upon us, it is time for us to release our NEW exclusive summer craft cocktails available for parties, events, and mixology parties. Due to copyright restrictions and the need to book us for events, we are not revealing the ratios and proportions of the cocktails that is no different than if you go to a bar or restaurant. These cocktails are fresh, hand-crafted, delicious, and beautiful and not available anywhere else.

Don’t be afraid to spice up your ‘rita with a pinch of rosemary or cilantro, or a little jalapeño or habanero chile. But remember, less is more when it comes to herbs and hot peppers. I make a great tequila infusion using the serrano pepper in blanco tequila.

 Earth Day is celebrated on April 22nd and to honor what it stands for I am offering up truly "green", farm-fresh, organic ingredients and cocktails for spring. As an added bonus, I list the best fruits, veggies, herbs, spices, and florals to be used in cocktails, infused spirits, syrups, purees, and juices for the season, best way to prepare them, and what base spirits pair best with them. International G & T Day (April 9th) has come and gone, but why not celebrate this classic elixir the whole month of April as we transition from spring to summer. Even though the G & T has lost some of it's luster over the past decade, it still remains iconic, especially for traditionalists. New age bars and bartenders have begun to modernize it by serving it many different ways without losing the distinct G & T taste. The classic G & T is experiencing a renaissance.

National Mojito Day is celebrated on July 11th, but in reality, mojitos can be and should be enjoyed all summer-long. Below you will find many different variations on this classic Cuban-born elixir along with its history. Since I will be away the week of the 11^th, I am sharing this post today.

The classic Hemingway Daiquiri is my "Cocktail of the Month", which is great for sipping by pool or at the beach. Enjoy the different takes on this classic libation, including Michael's version. Also, because I was in the Daiquiri 'spirit', I included a great You Tube video from my friend and colleague, Marsha Meyer, on making a proper classic Daiquiri - check it out. Btw, the Daiquiri, against popular belief, is not a blended frozen drink.

Enjoy these New Orleans/Mardi Gras cocktails offered by Raise Your Spirits, Inc for your next party or event. We, at RYS, can also prepare a batch of these cocktails for a get together with your friends, co-workers, or neighbors. These concoctions are all classics, but some of them have been modified/improved to create a better cocktail experience. If had the opportunity to try them at our kickoff event a few weeks ago, you know how delicious they are. Due to copyright reasons, I have not listed the intended proportions, ratios, measurements, and mixing instructions.

After a considerable hiatus from blogging, we have returned with this special post. To all of my lovely followers and fans, thank you for sticking around. I hope you enjoy this edition filled with lovely cocktails and info even for the home bartender, whiskey connoisseur, or cocktail aficionado.

Some of these are classics, some twists on classics, and some RYS originals.
